Baked Acorn Squash
3 Acorn squash
3 T honey
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1 t ground ginger
1/4 t ground nutmeg
2 T butter or margarine
Cut squash in half
crosswise and scoop out seeds. Arrange squash, cut side down, in shallow baking
dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min. Turn squash cut side up and spoon mixture
of honey, salt, pepper, ginger, nutmeg and butter or margarine into cavities.
Continue baking 30-40 min. or until squash is tender when tested with a fork.
Serve hot. Yields 6 servings.
