Lemon Pound Cake

2 sticks oleo

3 C sugar

3 C plain flour

1 t lemon flavoring

1/4 C Crisco

5 eggs

1 C milk

Beat oleo, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk and flour alternately. Bake in tube pan, starting in cold oven. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350.

Glaze:

1 C confectioners sugar

3 T lemon juice

Spread on pound cake while hot.
