Louisiana Pie
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
1/4 C butter
1/2 C Colonial granulated sugar
1 C firmly packed Colonial light brown sugar
Dash salt
3 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 T flour
1/2 C heavy cream
1 C chopped pecans
In medium sized
bowl, combine butter, sugars and salt. Blend well. Add eggs one at a time,
beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, flour, cream and pecans. Pour
mixture into pie shell. Bake in moderate oven, 375 degrees, for 40-50 min. or
until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve slightly warm with whipped
cream. Makes 1 9" pie
