Old Fashioned Tea Cakes

1 C shortening

3 C sugar

1/2 T salt

5 C self-rising flour

2 T ice water

5 eggs

Dash nutmeg

Mix thoroughly. Bake 10 or 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
