Texas BBQ Chicken
2 broilers or small fryers
1 clove garlic
1/2 t salt
1/4 C salad oil
1/2 C freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 T grated onion
1/2 t black pepper
1 t worcestershire sauce
Wipe broilers
with a clean damp cloth and cut in half. Mash garlic with salt in bowl and stir
in remaining ingredients. (This is better if it can be chilled overnight.) Mop
chicken with sauce and place on grill. Watch carefully to keep chicken from
burning. Turn occasionally and mop on more sauce. Yield: 4 servings.
